The Defenders USA- July 10, 2010- Portland to Lacey to Seattle- A benefit to end the demand for prostituted children- KIDS ARE NOT FOR SALE IN THE NORTHWEST!- DETAILS and REGISTRATION: defendersride.worldpress.com - 360-601-4875 Hey all, the route is confirmed and we will be posting a map soon. Everything starts at 9 a.m. on Saturday July, 10 at the Rose Quarter. The ride ends later that afternoon just outside Husky Stadium. If you haven’t already done so, PLEASE REGISTER NOW. This event is going to get a lot of attention in the media real soon and we want to be responsible in making sure we’re prepared, so help us out by signing up and tell your friends too. There’s been some question as to the fund-raising part of this event, so if you’ll go to the registration page you’ll see several options for this. All we’re asking is that you do what you can. If its just riding, then by all means come. This project has been generously supported by local businesses, individuals and organizations and the event will pay for itself, so any money raised will be focused specifically on the rescue and restoration of kids. So…any money raised helps kids.
